The significance of a certain date,
Is lost on all but one.
He who understands you fully,
Knows you intimately
He who hurts with you
And feels your pain completely.
He knows that you are crying on the inside,
While fooling the whole world with your smile.
He sees through the fake smile and
Is there to wipe the tears,
And allay all your fears.
He always knows the right things to do
And the right words to say,
She wonders how he is there to catch her
When she falls?
Hold her hand when she is scared,
Console her when she is sad.
He remembers her fears,
Feels her pain
Makes her smile,
she forgets her heartache
And is happy for a while.
His sensitivity thrills her no end,
But with it brings a feeling of dread.
What if he stops caring?
What if he decides to walk away?
Who will mend her broken heart?
Who will hold her when they are apart?
Who will make her smile everyday?
God let him be with her,
Let him stay,
Please don’t make him go away.
